This was easily one of my favorite weddings of the season! Although it was SUUUUUUPER cold out and we had to work with limited choices on locations due to the fact that the Color Run was taking place on their wedding day, things couldn’t have turned out better for photos. We started out in the East Village at my studio for some getting ready shots and their first look.
I absolutely LOVE it when couples elect to see each other before their weddings. The moment is so special, it always just sets the tone for how I react to their wedding images as well. They had such an adorable little first look moment. Anthony was just in awe of Jessica!
Another great thing about this wedding for me is that they exchanged vows at one of the most beautiful churches in town (and it’s on the south side where I grew up), St. Anthony Catholic Church.
The bridal party stopped at the Hessen Haus for a quick drink where this private moment was caught in the midst of all of the chaos of three wedding parties and a whole slow of Color Runners out celebrating.
After that, we all headed out for some very chilly shots at a local park. It was tough at the time, but oh-so-worth-it!!
How gorgeous are they? Seriously!?!?!?!?!
This last shot of the two of them outside is one of my absolute favorites from day. I just love the way that he looks at her. If I had to choose one photo that I’ve taken that truly captures the look of love, this is definitely it!
Their celebration ended at the Scottish Rite. I just love that venue! It was a great party!
